Curiousity about the ESP

Hello

I've got a '00 E220 CDI. There is a button which is supposed to give me free control of the vehicle. So far I've noticed that this is far from the thruth. Seems like it ignores the "off" ESP when given a certain speed or gear. It's exactly like driving it with the ESP on.

Is there a fuse or something I can remove to get the ESP completely OFF?

Thanks guys!

I've seen beneath the rear-seats but can't find this yaw-sensor. How does it look like and is it right next to the battery or on the other side?

On my car there is a panel to lift off like the other side where the battery is. It could be under the front seat on the same side.
