1997 E320 Gas mileage
I am refurbishing a 97 E320 that has been sitting in my dads garage for about a year and a half. I finally inherited it from my dad and put a new battery in it and got it running. I've been fixing it up bit by bit( new radiator, new fan, new wheels, speakers etc) & have been driving it in city and the highway for about a month and a half. My "check engine- Check electronics" light come on and off twice since Ive been driving it. One big problem that I am having is its awful gas mileage. Its a 6 cylinder engine and I am literally getting about 14 mpg. I cannot figure out why? Can anyone give me some pointers on why it might be so bad??
