The offset range used depends on the width of the wheel.

AMG uses ET31 on 8" wide for the front, and ET35 on 9" wide for the rear.

W205 C300
W210 wheel upgrade example:

Front: 18x8", offset ET31
Rear: 18x9 offset ET35

Stock 16" x 7.5" wheels have a 41mm offset.

Size an width will determine what offset you need.

Check out www.tirerack.com and click on the wheel upgrade for the W210.

112 is your bolt spacing... 5x112mm

Where've you gotten to with your mods? Been quiet on this for a while....

I don't have much to add to everyone else but here's a couple of sites with offset and wheel diameter calculators (for those who are not aware, the same diameter must be maintained in order for the speedo stay true) N.B. for reference only, may not be entirely correct! I've also done a simple excel spreadsheet that does both calculations if anyone wants to do it off-line:

Offset calculator:

http://toy4two.home.mindspring.com/offset.html

Tire size calculator (determines which size tires to use with diff. size wheels):

http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

Also don't forget lug bolt size/shape. I seem to also remember the rear wheels have a recess that fits cogs on the disc so not every brand will work (?????)
