ignition 12v switch source for amp
looking to power my sub, i saw on here that the black and yellow wire coming out of bose amp is ignition switchable 12v power but it does not work for me.
I also tried all fuses under the rear seat and they all seem to have constant power even when the car is off, is this normal?
I took all the fuses out one by one and slid the amp turn on on the right side prong (only sider with power w.o fuse) and ingnition on or key out doors locked the amp was still on.
What could i use in the back of the car that would give me power for my samp to know when to turn on and off?

If your car is Bose sound system, you have one blue wire in to the factory Bose amp. if not, you have the same blue wire in the antenna amp C pillar/Driver side. you would plug the new amp to this wire to got REMOTE start for the new amp, and plug the + terminal from the amp to the positive of the battery and - to the ground Chassis.
What are you trying to install in your car? Normally all aftermarket amps comes with +/-/remote terminals, you don't need ACC (You need ACC just for the HU)

I have the sub installed into the factory bose system i taped into the rear deck speaker wires for the input low signal for the amp.
I tried the wires off the amp by leaving the radio on and probing the plug with the amp wire till it came on. two wires turned it on, i think the blue and the red wires. problem is they powered the amp up even when the car and radio was off. i tried the fuses under the rear seat and they keep the amp on too.
I read somewhere that the bose amp turns on with input signal from the headunit so it doesn't have a wire that switches on and off with the radio power. If that is the case that explains what i got when i probed my wires. Ill try that blue wire again if you say it should work ...wouldn't hurt

Try the blue one again, i install JL audio amp to my subs in my car and works propperly, is the same signal for the antenna amp in the C pillar/driver's side. it turn on the amp when you turn on the HU and tur it off when the HU stay off by some seconds
