E320 4-matic front ride height too high.

I did a search but I didn't find anything on this subject. My 98 E320 4-Matic wagon sits too high in the front compared to other E320's. It looks like it has been jacked up and it shows excessive clearance above the front tires in the wheel wells. The rear tires seem to fit the wheel wells properly. The car has stock sized wheels and tires and has not been modified AFIK. Any ideas? Thanks.

That is what I thought but I was next to a E320 sedan 4-matic the other day and that car had a more normal ride height. That is why I was questioning it.

You can change the spring pads if they are not already #1s. Mine had #1 pads and was still high so I cut the springs.

The US 210s already ride waaaay too high compared to the euro ones. The 4 matics are even worse. Its designed for the old people that hit the parking stoppers and rip front bumpers off *i.e. my parents*

Hey, careful. I am one of those old people. LOL. I guess the next step is to check the pads. I have never been thrilled with the results I have gotten from cutting springs in the past, but maybe that it is an option. Thanks for the input.

The pads make a SIGNIFICANT difference. My car has OEM springs and #1 pads. It dropped it a little over an inch from my stock #5s or #4s i forget which. Im just salty because I let my mother drive my car once and she ripped off my brabus front lip...breaking the tabs
