Making noise when button is pressed but will not go up or down.
Any ideas what is failing?

Therefore if you go that route ask him point blank "Do you have access to WIS docs"---if the reply is I just took a WIS five minutes ago----then tell seattle sam, you just got a call from your wife and have to RUN and RUN fast untill you find an indy that undestands and has repaired MB's

Talked to the dealer and they quoted around $2200 for parts and labor.
Yep..very labor intensive and the entire assembly with the motor needs to be replaced.
I will leave it alone
