radiator question

I have a 2001 E430 that the radiator has been damaged. The fan has struck it and put a hole in it. About 3" up from the passenger side and 3"in from the passenger side . I was told the radiator could not or should not be fixed. I dont know. But my question is if I replace the radiator is it ok to use a single row radiator vs. the 2 row. It has a 2 row in it now. Car never runs hot . Always runs below 80 C level . Just wondering if the radiator will be sufficient for the cooling process. Or should I try to find a repair shop that can repair it ? Thanks in advance

radiator

I dont think its a matter of economy. Its a matter of supply and demand. I dont know what your letters mean and it really doesnt matter. I just asked a simple question. Will a single row radiator cool sufficiently in an E430? Thats all. Two row radiators arent that plentiful from suppliers and I was just asking a question.
I put what I want in my car. Mercedes can say all they want about approved fluids etc.. Thats just good marketing. And the general public has been buying their hype for many years. There is NO proof anyplace that shows Mercedes products are better than anybodys. They all work the same . Oil is oil . It doesnt know its in a Mercedes or a Briggs lawnmower. To think its better is what they want you to believe. I know for a fact its crap. But I guess you believe it so good for you. They market cars to a certain group of people and Mercedes believes if you can afford thier cars then you should use their products in them. Go ask a Mercedes mechanic.
These are things I dont do with my car
1. I dont use totally Mercedes products in it.
2. I use regular oil
3. My trans fluid is off the shelf
4. My filters are fram
5. My hydraulic fluid is trans fluid.
6. Plugs are NGK
7. Brake fluid is dot 3
8. I still have the original battery in my car
My car was bought new in Sept 2000 in Dallas texas. It has 189367 miles on it as of today. I get 30+ MPG on the road 25 in town. The only item that has failed on the car was the A/C compressor. Which was under warranty and replaced and has been working ever since.
In my opinion Mercedes products only contribute to one spending more money than they have to to maintain their automobile.
If I have offended you I apologize but this is my opinion on your comments and thats that.

You don't have to go to the dealer to put OEM parts in your car.
My rad was punctured, so I bought the factory Rad > no mods or BS to install it. And its OEM.
I got a smoking price from Autohause in AZ. You get the part in a few days.

I have herd of many many people have numerous issues by putting non MB tyranny fluid into there car.

Whenever I buy parts from them I throw in extra parts (stuff I know I will use like oil filters, air filters) to get the shipping free.
