Hey guys, I have been browsing the forums for quite sometime. I need advice, I bought a 99 e430 from a salvage auction. I initially bought the car only for the motor, 4.3 v8. Only to find that there is little damage to the car, it is worth fixing! So here goes, I am searching for a front bumper assembly. There is nothing for a bumper on the front end. Just wondering if it is a 2 piece bumper as my w202 is. There is an inner bumper, and a cover? I have been finding bumpers pretty reasonably priced in my area. Just wondering If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, need a little more information If you guys don't mind. What years are compatible with my 99' e430. Bumper-wise.
I am looking at a few used bumpers, these are the models I have to work with.

1997 e300D
1997 e420
1996 e320

all 96-99 bumpers are compatible with your car. Those headlights are hideous! don't do it man!

 

+1. what color is the car? if it's silver, it won't be hard to find a replacement bumper since silver was the most common color for w210s.

I think only black cars that can pull those off. on any other color, they look a little off. have you considered the clear depo projectors?

Well, I appreciate all the help. I will look into those headlights, I am currently invested my time alot in my w202. So the e430 is parked for the time being. Almost done with the w202, Just need headlights any suggestions?

Pick your poison. both w210s, the clears are the E430 and the Blacks are the E320. Both are 1999, so they're pre-facelift like yours. Don't have silver, sorry
one has HIDs in, and the other has halogens. the projectors definitely help focus the beam, regardless whether HID or halogen.
also, if you want to give an updated look, get the clear foglights if you don't have the sport front bumper.

hey shakeel.bhatia, that's a great comparison! Which taillights are those? Do you have a link to the ones you purchased?

 

I don't remember exactly which tail lights they were, but they were from the seller EagleMotorSport. LED tail lights, Solid product, bought them in 2011 and they still work. They do give a lamp defective, but it can be bypassed easily. The only problem I had was on the second set(smoked turn signals) I couldn't seem to find the right fit for the car. The design of the tail lights changed in 2000, and a lot of these sellers claim they fit pre-facelift when they don't.
Don't be alarmed though, all you have to do is sand down some of the trunk opening to get it to fit properly. They look great nonetheless.
