real OEM
Does anyone know if are there any websites for Mercedes that are like what real OEM is for BMW's? If so PLEASE post a link or tell me the website. I could really use that right about now.

No real OEM is basically the same program the dealership's parts dept uses when you go to get parts from them. You can look up pretty much every model BMW and look at every part with a blow up diagram of how it goes together/comes apart. It will tell you every nut, bolt, gasket, sizes, part numbers and cost (that's not always so accurate) but everything else is spot on. For a do it yourselfer BMW owner that site is worth millions! Check it out and just pick any model BMW to see what I mean. THAT'S what I want for tinkering with this benz. I can actually see what's what and have a good idea of what I'm getting into before I ever even go out to the car. It also helps you figure out where something goes if you should ever end up with the occasional "extra part" That website is www.realoem.com

Well I was at the dealership the other day ordering parts and they use a similar system. I asked the guy if that was available online and he said yes and you can find it on mbusa.com but I searched their site and couldn't find it? Maybe you'll have better luck but that's the best info I've got.

I FOUND IT! I FOUND IT!! Here's the link so check it out. You have to sign up for a yearly subscription but it's free of charge. Why they make you have to subscribe, I don't know? But it is what it is... WORTH IT!

MBWorld Fanatic!
EPC is quirky, and is not accessible via Mac computers. Heavily Java compliant
and a bit challenging to navigate if you're not up to MB vernacular. It is not
available to folks who are not in North America. The credit card helps authenticate
you, but the service is free.
A somewhat decent substitute is the online Russian web site
A single PDF full of many 210 exploded diagrams available here, harvested from
the Russian site
Possibly a Canadian equivalent to EPC but i'm not having luck finding the proper portal
A 2008 edition of the MB parts price list - dealer vs retail used to be found here, but
appears to have expired. I do have a copy if anyone can host. Though not
current, it gives you an idea of their mark-up %. For example, they charge
$350-350 for a Smartkey but their cost is $60
