Hi Guys. I just got my 1998 E320. The previous owner installed a aftermarket radio. At this point the HU doesn't have the face plate. I been searching for weeks. Especially around here, on how to remove the Bural wood trim that houses the Climate Control and Radio WITHOUT removing the radio. Seeing how I can't access the two screws that hold the trim in place because it is atop the radio. If there is a way to do that Please help me with it. I know how to take out the center console and Ash Tray and Storage Compartment.

Lol really dude? I know how to take apart the inner of the whole car. Just that it won't help Me due to the fact that the previous owner already had an aftermarket radio so now I am not able to access the two screws holding the burl wood trim for the radio and climate control. I need to know if I am able to pull the radio another way.

hmm, seems a bit backwards. we're not able to tell much because so far, only
you know which radio you have. you may want to contact Crutchfield and see
if you can finesse info out of them in terms of how to remove the radio out.
absent that, no, there isn't an easy way of removing the wood surround w/o
damaging or hacking something

I would follow raymond's advice and see if you can identify the radio. Each after market manufacturer has a different way of securing the radio.
It's been awhile since I removed my trim. What sort of compartment/insert do you have below the radio? If it's just a storage box then there is a tab in the top center at the back. Pull down on the tab and slide the insert out. Now you can at least try to put pressure on the back of the radio. Just a thought.

Remove the plastic trim ring that goes around where the radio face would typically go. Typically it's held in place by tiny plastic tabs that will release with a slight tug. Once you remove the trim ring, you're going to need to slip two thin pieces of plastic around each side of the radio, between the radio mounting sleeve and the radio chassis. This should release the tabs that are holding the radio in place in the mounting sleeve. You can use those "rewards" cards you get from the grocery store and slide them between the mounting sleeve and the radio chassis. Depending on how tight it is in the mounting sleeve, you might need to pop out the climate controls and push the radio out from the back or be lucky enough to pull it out with your finger tips.
