1997 E420 - SRS Light

1997 E420 - SRS Light
On my 1997 E-420, I have been getting SRS light ON some time and then it goes away for days.
Is 1997 E-420 has same passenger seat sensor like face lift W-210?
I did chang my self passenger seat sensor on my 2001 E-430.
I just wanted to confirm that 1997 E-420 has passenger seat sensor or not.
Also is there any thing else can be causing this SRS light? Like seat belt sensor etc.
Any feed back will be greatly appreciated.

I found that I had issue with wiring under passenger seat. I removed the cable tie that was cutting wiring insulation. Then put some temporary electrical tap till have time to remove seat or wiring and fix it permanently.
FYI. 1997 E-420 does not need MB star diagnostic system to reset SRS light. I just un plugged negative terminal at back seat from battery and let it sit for 30 minutes. Then plug the power back in and SRS light was gone.
Now on my 2001 E-430, even after I changed the passenger seat sensor, I had to take my car to Indie shop that had Star Diagnostic system to reset my SRS.
1997 E-420, you don't need MB Star system to reset SRS.
