Does any one know what kind of bulb I need for IC instrument cluster?

Can I just buy bulb without base? or bulb comes with this colorful base

See the photo for location of spot on my IC that is dark now.

Is this bulb can I purchase locally from AutoZone or Orielly or Napa?

I already changed the bulb on Climate control module (Sylvania 2721 at AutoZone).

Check the MB free EPC parts site, put your VIN in and go to Instrument cluster and all will be clear!!

Possible part number from MB is N910146 000000 (2w) but check before ordering

i think i recall seeing part #s as well as LED options posted within the instrument
cluster threads. be sure you're fingering bulb # specific for 00-02 panel.

Figured out all the IC bulbs for 2001 E-430. I did order them from AutoHause AZ.
