Parktronic (PTS) Sensor Diagnoses
Dear All!
I have W210 1999 CDI Sedan Facelift.
1- Is there ANY DIY way to check/diagnose (via Multimedia or anything) whether individual parking sensors are okay or dead?
2- If one sensor will be damaged or removed then will whole system (front & rear) will go down?
your help will be really appreciated
Thanks!
THG

For 18 bucks you can get a 24 hour subscription to MB WIS repair docs.
There you will learn all about the Parktronic design and system function and how to test and repair(with some special tools) your Parktronic issues. Then you can post a DIY!!
If not then make sure you pick and indy that has access to DAS Xentry!!

Plutoe,
How do I find a indy with a Das Xentry? I live 20 miles west of DC and in desperate need of help with my daily drive. Scott 703-216-7367

I recommend Chuck or Dave at Harbor Auto Center in Crownsville, MD (410) 923-2482 they specialize in Mercedes and have two shops. They are very reasonably priced with fast service. Worth the drive!!!
