Another COMAND install success!
Steve was here in NY today to install COMANDS!!! Although it took a little while to remove my existing navigation equipment, he finally got everything done, including the folding / blinking mirror wires, COMAND, and nokia 6310i phone install! I'm impressed... I wish my stealer were so particular about taking the car apart, putting everything back, and double checking that everything works. I'll post pics tomorrow!!!!!

Thanks to c43amg for providing the working place, and paxfobiscum for travelling there.. It's always great to put faces together with online screen names. What say we NYers have a get together sometime??

Definitely hurt to see it all in pieces...knees were shaking...hahahaha
The ones in US actually do come displaying degrees F, but since I'm used to reading metric and degrees C, I had the dealer reprogram it using their stardiagnostic computer ..it changed the outside temp reading as well.
a little off topic, whitey, but paxfobiscum actually has two tweeters already sitting in his upper dash on his 98 E320 wagon! I saw them when steve took his car apart today. They do have wires running from them, but apparently they're not live, since they don't produce any sound?

That first 210 went pretty well...took a while but went well...the 210 comand installs after that just didn't go to well...freaking f#$@!ng 2 DIN support frames! 
This is the second eastcoast trip in a row that gets screwed up by 5 euro costing support frames 
...oh well...the 5 comand installs today went well...

Arrived 5 minutes ago from Rhode Island. It's nice to finally see the pictures that JG posted on this forum.
Anyway, I'll pick up the two din frames for comand that I ordered from MB Manhattan last week. They said it will be in by Saturday so I'm picking it up at 7:30 AM tomorrow morning. Call me tonight or first thing in the morning (you know my cell number) and leave me a message to where I can meet you for the rest of your NYC comand installs. I'm sure you're going to need these frames for the remaining installs of your trip.
