1997 E320 How many spark plug wires do I need?
I'm having a tune-up done on my 97 E320. I'm having all 3 coil packs replaced, and new spark plug wires. I know I need 3 Coil Packs, but how many spark plug wires are needed? I've noticed they only come in 3, shown in this link. Do I need 3 of those wires or 6?

Out Of Control!!
I do not know much about the 104 engine except that it is I6 with three coil packs, however you do have six spark plugs for six clylinders.
Interrestingly when you check EPC you see wires/attachments for 1-3-5, but not for 2-4-6---strange, therefore if it were me,I would call a dealer and ask for the part numbers for 2-4-6 wires(they may very well be cut to length on sight???)

I think I've figured it out, there's 3 spark plug wires, I posted the link to the spark plug wires it in my first post. Spark Plug wires connect to spark plugs 1 3 5 I believe. The Ignition packs connect to the spark plugs 2 4 6 with a boot, I dont think the ignition packs come with a boot and must be bought separately. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.
