The problem is quite likely the
wires coming from the seat sensor instead of the sensor itself. If you play around with the wire bundle it will probably fix itself.....for free. They short out on the seat frame.

The cable passes through a sharp hole in the base of the seat...this cuts the wire. I didn't try to fix mine...there wasn't much room...but if you did some dismantling of the seat you could more than likely solder the broken wire.
I fitted an emulator...so the SRS is always active.
