Question Help Please!!! Choice Of Wheels

Guys (& gals) here's a survey of preferences. I'm now torn but at the same time frustrated with not being able to get my hands on the ones I really want where I am . I would be eternally grateful if you could help me out by taking a vote on these (the last one's my ride as it is now). Many thanks

Leave it alone

The top two pictures are too busy for my taste. 3rd one down is still a little over the top for me.

I like your car the way it is. The AMG monoblocks look good, but I guess they look too stock for you. I would save them though, in case you get tired of the aftermarket wheels.

The 3rd one down.

What brand are they?

4th pic. AMG monoblocks are my choice. Maybe get them in chrome or polished.

Thanks a million guys.

Surprsing the response is pretty much unanimous, except for a couple that opted to stay put - very understandably. To be honest, these two options were also my stronger preferences, (even tho' I always wanted to make my ride look slightly more aggressive). The reason why I've had so much trouble finding the right one's is not only cos I'm limited with choice but also cos I struggle to find ones that'll nicely match the mild curves and plain panels of the E's, while at the same time give it some perception of muscle.

Rob, they're all Carlssons (except the last being the standard AMG monblock II's): 2/6, 1/16, 2/5

Anyway, thanks again and I'll post some pics once I decide to bite the bullet.

Whitey, how you like the Sebring Exhaust? Nice sounds. How much and where did you get it? Got any better pics of rear with exhaust? Thanks.

Kev, I think it sounds much deeper and louder than the AMG and apparently more efficient. I'm still not happy with it being too quiet tho - only hear it best in an alley type environment with the windows down. As I've only got a V6, I'll probably remove the mid-muffler the next time I get her in for a service so it sounds a bit louder and more like a V8 (and hopefully get a few more HP's).

Unfortunately I got it here in HK. If you're having probs getting them in the States, my mechanic is the official importer here and can probably arrange to something for you. I paid about US$833.

Not sure which pics you've seen but here's another (you prob can't see but just above both holes there's Sebring logo engrave on flat chrome surface - will take a better pic later if you like)

Dunno about the parktronic as it is part of the Advantgarde package but probably not much use in a wide, open country like the US of A......

Thanks guys for responding to Merc1 for me

Let me find out for ya - I seem to remember my guy telling me the V8 version is plain oval like an AMG, except bigger and with the logos on the top of the tips (nice too).

Now 22" would be a mean feat! I'd like to see someone do it. C'mon, the Calrsson 2/5's aint that bad - a bit bland but matches the car somewhat.

OK seems even the most radical of us thinks its Ok as is so I'll probably let it be for now..........mabe shine the AMG's up a bit (I think Mark C. once suggested some sort of compound....must find the thread??????).

CARLSSONS!!!

Hey Whitey, the pic. with the Carlsson 1/16's is really terrible. It does the rims no justice. I actually love the new 1/16's polished (not chrome) and would take those over all of the wheels that you have showing. I also like your AMG's but the 1/16's, wow those are tight and different as I have not seen them on anyone's Benz yet. These are just my opinions and I wish you luck on your decision.
