H&R Cup Kit, or H&R/Bilstein setup?
Tomorrow I gotta place my order with either ones.
I'm told that HR cup kit lowers more than HR/Bilstein setup, HOWEVER, it's softer.
Then Im told HR/Bilstein is tighter, BUT, you may have to cut, as demonstrated by Will and Hank, to get the drop that the cup kit would give you. And then even w/ the cut, being stiffer, the ride still keeps tighter, than a cup kit.
What should I do? I Want my car indoed out.

It's all a matter of how low you want to go. If you want height over comfort, go with the cupkit as it will be lower. But, if you want comfort over height, go with the H&R/Bilstein set up (that's what I have). Love the ride in my Benz and still has a nice height.

Man, I love your car Jimmy ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I went w/ the cupkit as it'll drop it more and keep the ride comfortable. I had HR/Bilstein on my W124 and it was ok, but I could use more comfort

jimmythegreek's and The Doctor's statements seem to conflict. Jimmy says that the HR/Bilstein is more comfortable while The Doc says the cupkit is more comfortable. I've been wondering which to get and comfort is my priority. Could you guys clear this up? Thanks...

Ok after about 5-6 hours of driving the car since yesterday when the cupkit was put on, I can say that it is very comfortable compared to my '94 E320 Bilstein/HR setup, but less responsive and less stiff. I don't mind it however as it still takes corner unlike during its stock state, and it's slammed

By 'comfort' I mean the ride not being bumpy. As close to stock as possible I guess. I have 18s now and sometimes I ponder about going back to 16s just to get that 'comfortable' ride.
According to the Doc, the cupkit is more comfortable than the HR/Bilstein. Now to the question that many people ask, how is the cupkit compared to the Eibach/Koni? I heard the Eibach/Koni is the most comfortable ride for a lowered car? Can anyone confirm or elaborate on this, especially those that have had this setup. Thanks....

Modding the W210 is fun ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
My W124 was a '94 E320. I bought it for $10k on ebay, got it on July 4th 2002 with 92k miles. Modded it, sold it as is in August 2003 for $17,500 with 125k miles (33k miles in a year
)
So I made a killing on it![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Here's a pic of it from 2-3 months ago.
I posted pics of the W210 here https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...threadid=51023

Nice ride.....like the shine on the paint job.
Is it me or are those rear wheels sitting a bit on an "A" i.e. inner tire wear?

Sorry, by "comfortable" I meant solid and feeling the road. Comfortable for me is not soft but more aggressive. My ride is stiffer than stock but not bouncy like others have mentioned. I love the ride on my car...

Depends on your definition of 'comfortable'. The cup-kit in general is a softer ride. The HR/Bilstein is more stiff and responsive.
