Bought an 99 w210 e320 auto started stripping it out to have a bit of fun in a field.it as it was an mot failiure drove home fine but after id stripped the interior leaving nothing but a steering wheel and drivers seat it refuses to go out of park. Need to move it off the road by 31st but cant any help appreciated as cant afford a mechanic

There is an emercgency mechanical release on the shifter console. Stick a pen or dowel in it to move the selector out of park.
