Transmission/Power Steering Fluids?
Hello. I've been off the Merc seen for a while, after I lost my 86 190D. I'm back with a 1996 E300D with 257K on it.
W210 OM606 Tranny 722.4xx.
Can I use Castrol Transmax ATF+4 with this vehicle, or should I use a Dextron based fluid?
Does the power steering use ATF also?

Out Of Control!!
Look to the stickies for the correct fluid specs----alternative make a call to any dealer and ask them for the 722.4XX list of approved fluids.
