Unknown vibration @ 2000 rpm's?
I have a 2000 E430 4matic that has an unexplained vibration at about 2000rpm under load (taking off, uphill). It feels like its coming from everywhere in the car. Sometimes you can feel where a noise or vibration is coming from, not this one. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or heard about it. It's not the tires. Just had them rotated and balanced but the problem has been there since ive had the car (1 1\2 yrs). Any input on this would be great!

I think you have a bad tranny mount. replace it, is cheap and easy job. Check for engine mounts too

could be cat. converter having mine change had sound and vibration at the same rpm

Sounds like a torque converter shudder. Is it more common hot? Light throttle?

Pretty much all temps. Light or hard throttle too.
