How to determine if your transmission is original

Every once in awhile when I want some good entertainment I venture across the street

One poster had a very simple but good question---How to determine if his transmission was original----well after two days and seven posts his question is still left unanswered.

That's odd, every one was talking way around the subject, but racking up posts for not answering the question---strange!!

For those of you that want to know if your transmission is original----an answer is----look to the EPC datacard for the vehicle, within the information you will see the transmission type and serial number listed-----do the serial numbers match??---if they do it's original

Now when you go looking for the next Benz you to can answer the question
