Problem with my trunk!
Can you guys help me find my problem to my trunk... I have a 02 e320 and the trunk only opens with the real key. not remote key or center console button. i checked all the fuses, i checked for air leaks, but ever time i hit the button on my remote key to lock and unlock the doors you can hear the air compressor come on, when i hit the trunk button it does not come on. can you help me find my problem thanks.........

access the pump next to the main battery. one of the ports should be labeled
"HECK" if i remember correctly. carefully (!) disconnect the hose. blow into it
firmly and that should be sufficient pressure to activate the truck release. also,
check the pump output to HECK and see if there is pressure emitted when you
activate the Smartkey and/or the console trunk release.

Yea I did do that. I took it it out put air into it and it popped open but whenever I hit the trunk button on the remote key the air compressor doesn't come on but it comes on when I hit the lock and unlock
