Finally started modding the Benzo... (VIP inspired)
What's up guys! Well after owning the car for 2 years and loving everything about it I finally started modding my ride. I always had a vision of what I wanted it to look like and it's slowly starting to get there. After 2 years of collecting parts and saving up I was finally able to gather up enough funds to buy my wheels and bag it. I know this style isn't everyone's cup of tea but it's mine and I'm building it to my liking. Lol since I bought the car I knew I was taking the VIP route, I've always wanted a bagged Merc. Here's a few pics of the progress, it's far from done though. I still have a lot of other things I want to do to it in the near future. Any questions feel free to ask and comments and criticism is all welcome.

When I took it in for the bags...Nov 2013

Tires mounted and balanced...

After the install and as she sits...

My drive height....

A picture with my younger brothers GS400...

New headlights, most likely going to retrofit them before I install them...

I'll keep updating the thread as more work and progress gets done... Thanks for looking!

Nice! I actually considered bagging mine too, since driving around this low static sucks. lol. But I'm glad everything worked out so well! How much did you spend on your bag setup in total? And how did you like the stretch on the federals? Did you have to go a size narrower since they run wide?

Looks great!
I want to go low, but I'll be using coil overs for a static drop.
I really like your rim choice.
When driving at a height that allows you to clear obsticles, how far out do the rims stick in the back, if at all?
Well done. Great color, looking forward to updates!
