Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks for the thread. I have a UK version. Is there a way to turn on this feature, for the street at my home is relatively dark and it's dangerous for my wife when she comes home at night.
Any US drivers here know on how can this feature be turn on for a Euro version car using the DAS programme system. There must be a way to do so. Could someone please help find out for me. Is there a part/sensor of the car that needs to be change or a different software.
Appreciate the help.
Thanks a million !
Cheers !
). I can't help cos I also have an Euro version as I've mentioned (as I'm in HK) but maybe DAS can do some miracle to solve that.....I could also ask my mechanic when I visit him next, which will be soon. As you can see, everyone else is trying to figure out how to change the timing on it so I guess if it can be shorten, then there's no reason why it can't be lengthened i.e. turned on....but dunno
I guess you do have a genuine need for it - ever considered putting Brabus (or similar) LEDs under the side skirts (which turn off after a short delay)? You'll see a pic on the thread by Alexbenz entitled "Pic for Whitey" or one from me entitled "Can this be done?" (you can always do a search on this forum but Alex's is on the first page and mine should be on the second).

doc quick question......... on your ride, how's it when you have like 4 people in the car, do you hit, bottom out???? i'm about to get the cupkit... let me know all you can, problems and also benfits...thanks

I got no problem at all. I hit big all dips onthe freeway at 80mph, no bottoming out. However, when making a U turn, gotta be careful not to crank the wheel al the way b/c it'll rub
Whitey, they make xenon or good bulbs that match the headlites?

Doc, did you have no luck at the ricer shops a while back when you were looking for city lights and the H1's? I certainly have very white halos and there's newer ones that now put out 6,000-8000K's i.e. very close to HIDs (normal halos generate 2-3,000K's).
As for the city lights I recall some other member recommending a Philips one that's meant to be quite white. I've been using a Japanese version that requires a small modification (filing of the pins) cos the pins aren't exactly the same....let me find the thread for ya.
When I had the stock bumper I used a nice multi colour one - very bright (almost white) but with hints of blue, green, yellow, purple etc.....hee, hee. These were so good they outlasted my bimmer (H1's on headlamps and fogs) and just I had to put them on my E (cost about US20-25/pr).
You sure you can't get them in the US?
I had all fenders rolled. I have some problems now w/ my front left wheel before the caster is off due to the big brake kit install. I'll have it aligned in a couple weeks in LA. SLO shops are stupid and couldn't get it done.
