97 E420 idle issue
Here is what we have tried: plugs were fouled so changed them along with the wires. Crankshaft position sensor was changed. Mass air sensor was changed. We put in a different throttle actuator (tried 2, no difference). The fuel pressure was fine so fuel pump and filter were ruled out. Coils seemed to be fine. It has been hooked up to graphs and computers. Nothing shows as being wrong.
One other thing it occasionally does, which may or may not be related, is the yellow low fuel warning will start flashing despite having plenty of fuel. It goes away with a restart.
After the new plugs and all, the car runs great. Tons of power. Fun to drive. It's just this boggy idle thing! I am at the point of trying to decide if I should just sell it. I am hoping someone may have some advice. Thank you!!!
