No A/C. Need help with climate codes
No A/C. Need help with climate codes
It's a 99 E320. The EC light is stuck on so no A/C.
I have been reading as much stuff as I can find on this problem for the last few days. I was able to read the climate sensor values. These were done with the EC light on and I have not redone them with EC off yet.
1 82
2 73

4 78
5 80
6 179
7 03
8 80
9 27
10 .8
11 2.1
12 4.3
I can provide the rest if they are relevant. They are sensors 20 thru 43.
I had some trouble getting the fault codes but finally succeeded, using the procedure on eclassbenz.com.
They were:
Eb1 416
Eb1 234
Eb1 416
Eb1 241
I got the codes to clear. The EC light is off.
Ran the diagnostic again and got Eb1 416 only. Ran it a 3rd time and no codes. Not sure if it was that I was just running the car in the driveway, but it still does not blow cool.
Any help interpreting this data will be greatly appreciated. Also acceptable values for the critical ones would be good to know.
Thanks,
Steve
