Most MPG on 2002 E320 Sedan?

After the 1,000 mile break-in, I was getting between 27 and 28 pure highway at 70 mph. Now, 180,000 miles later on the same transmission, I'm getting 24-25 pure highway 70 mph. So I suppose that is about a 10% loss of mpg over these 13 years.
