Hey everyone just picked up an 02 320 with 75k miles! Clean all over engine is strong . I'm coming from an 02 c320 so the engine is familiar. Prior to that I had a 97 c230 so this e is a breath of fresh air. Just wondering what everyone here does first to their 210s. The sport wheels are on it and in decent shape. First thing on my list is an ecu tune because that did wonders for my c320.

nice, good find with those miles. My car is similar (silver) with 119k and I thought that was good mileage.

Looks like your headlights are in great shape. Personally I'd remove the chrome rings. To me they take away the seamless look it has without. I like them sans pinstripe too.

I rode by one just like ours on the freeway the other day, same color and wheel combo. Bone stock and clean. It reassured me I need to do nothing to mine, it's still a relevant looking car and the design is aging well. A beauty.

Yea I'm going to take them off asap I never liked them when I saw them before. I love the facelift model. My 202 was a pre facelift and I changed the body kit fast. And are these wheels the sport wheels? I thought all 320s came with those bottlecap wheels unless it was a sport model . And is yours bone stock? I like to do subtle things to stick out.my 203 i just lowered with clk63 wheels and had a carbon fiber lip..keeping it closest to oem is the most important imho

Thanks...this is more comparable to my 202. My 203 just didn't have the quality feel. I just moved to south Florida and got off work late, was driving on a long strait and was amazed how smooth it was and I was flying lol . The engine feels more smooth then my c320 too Which is odd

Also if anyone can chime in on wheels. I would love some monoblocks.. what size does everyone use. I'm thinking 18x8? What about offset.

Well at least it's a noticeable upgrade, that's all that matters

here is an overview of the mods I had done. I wanted forged rims but talked
myself out of it and settled for AMG rims from an 211 E55.

Mine is bone stock minus the radio I installed. I think the 02 E class came with these wheels as a standard. I believe the sport had different wheels and would have "sport" on the fender molding.

I'll probably keep mine the way it is.

see my build thread to see what mods ive done...

personally, I wouldn't change the rims if youre not planning on lowering it. Ive never been a fan of the scraper/donk fashion.

Yea I'll lower it for sure. I'd like some monoblocks keeping it pretty stock look and lowering it a few innches all around I still want a comfortable ride

What kind of wheels do you have on they look sick. And does sis your ride still smooth? I had tien springs on my w203 it was like 1.8 drop all around and was still decent

The first thing I'd suggest is to reference any maintenance records/receipts/Carfax for work done.

If none, or in question, then I'd replace all fluids and filters starting with tranny.
Before performing tranny service, inspect both tranny cooling lines for needed replacement(s).
Before performing coolant replacement, inspect coolant hoses for needed replacement(s). Replace all hose clamps.
Address seeping/leaking breather cover(s) and/or valve cover(s).

Then do some research as to common issues at benzworld.org as well as mbworld.org.

Thanks. They are brabus monoblock VI. 18x8.5 and 18x9.5

Yup its still silky smooth. I have it setup kinda stiff at the moment though, but if I put it on full soft, it feels just a little firmer than stock.
