Is this a good car?

I'm very new to this site, and I'm looking to purchase my first mercedes. Though I am new to this site I am fairly knowledgeable about Mercedes cars, and I can do most maintence operations myself including
Oil changes
Spark plugs and boots
Coolant flush
And other minor repairs
I have about $4000 to spend.
I found this 1999 e320

http://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/cto/4611788852.html

It looks to be in very good condition, and I belive that it has beem well taken care of,
I have asked him about th car abd he has already done most of the crucial servicing including
Recent mobil 1 oil change
Tranny service
Spark plugs
Front brakes
Coolant flush
Also i noticed the Porsche 928 in the back ground as well as in the description he says he bought an e55, so he is likely to be an auto enthusiast and he probably took good care of the car.

My main concern with this car is that it has 138,000 miles which I know is'nt alot for a high quality automobile like this but it seems like a lot to me.
Also another thing to take into consideration is that I can only make between $200-$500 a month with becsuse I am a full time engineering student, though my food and housing are paid for (thank god)🐨🐧
Will this along with around $4500 in savings be enough to properly maintain this car.

Anyways I guess my question is, if you were in my position would you buy this car?

Thank you so much for your input

What seems to be a good deal on the front end can turn into a money pit on the back end. On your limited funds, I would look for something else that is cheaper to maintain.

What should I get then

So it sounds like you and Plutoe would not buy this car because it will most likely be a money pit, with that said what would you get then, should i save a little more and buy one with sub 100k miles or shoud i buy a different benz w202 or w203, what would be the most wallet friendly to own. Another alternative is to just keep my crown vic, though its not really my favorite option.
I thought with mercedes, mileage is imptortant but a good maintence history is paramount. This car does seem to have a good service history. Anyways all advice is much apprectiated. Tyvm
