99 e320 question
I'm looking a a 99 with 130k on it and I was wondering what you guys think.
Overall the car is in great shape.. Small dent under the right rear tail light and some of the clear is peeling on the roof, hood and trunk.. Everything else on the car feels right.. Seems to run good, trans feels good and all the electronics work.. and I can get it for a great price.
Now here my problem. I don't expect to get a car with over 100k and never do anything to it but at the same time I don't want a money pit..
Anything I should think about before I buy this car?
I've been very lucky with my Miata. I bought it 16 years ago and the hardest thing I had to do was the crank and cam seals.

One thing I would look at is the spring perches, especially if the car has been driven in an area where they put a lot of salt on the road in the winter. They are a common issue and expensive / difficult to fix. Mine went a year after I bought the car, but I'm sure I would have seen evidence of future failure if I had just taken a look before I bought the car.

Thanks for the info, I'm picking it up Monday but when I looked at it the other day was very rust free.. She almost looked like it never came out to play in the rain. But I'm double check.
