I have removed Ingnition following a failure. I am down to the steering Lock as pictured with a screwdriver I can turn the slotted barrel but cannot unlock, i understand I am beyond saving the lock but How do I remove it without damaging the column i have removed the 10 mm nut but the bolt will not move can anyone help please

I have my steering lock on e200 merc to remove It is 1997 and looks to have a 10 mm bolt thru the column housing retaining the final piece of the assembly but bolt will not move it has a square head i cannot see anything else holding it in the steering is locked and the Mechanism just keeps turning clockwise
