'98 E320
Serpentine Belt Replacement?
After 65K miles and 5+ years, the belt is frayed and has visible cracks showing. I'm assuming subject belt replacement is a "no brainer" given a warm garage, plenty of light, and cold 6-pack.

Questions:
1. As I stand in front of the car looking down on the belt's path, which pully releases the belt's tension?
2. Can the fan shroud be removed without 1st removing the fan?
3. Can the belt be replaced working exclusively from the top?
4. Any tricks I should know before attempting subject service?
