1999 E320 Wagon Base
99 E320 Wagon (Non 4matic) BAS Message only .
99 E320 Wagon Non 4matic 220K .
BAS Message Only and BAS/ASR light in left corner appear.
Light and message only come on when outside temp is below 50 degrees and driven 3.5 miles right on the DOT.
Even if I warm the engine up from a cold start, or Engine is already warn from previous driving . Below 50 outside at 3.5 miles .BAM ON.
New Batt and Alternator replaced at same time.
Brake light Switch replaced
Terminals put together to reset computer
Steering Wheel turned lock to lock 5 times.
No Change in condition
No other lights/check engine faults being displayed.
What item should be checked next ?

The tire trick .
Thanks Plutoe . I see where your going with this . I took the car in to have tires rotated . Pressures were set . I pulled out and 3.5 miles . BAM . back on . 37 degrees outside temp . Fairly new Pirelli p7 tires . Any other suggestions ? Thanks
