w 210 series 2001 model E class cdi
please help
I have a w 210 series cdi and three days ago when l was driving the ABS light came on and the speedometer stopped working and immediately the ESP and BAF massage displayed on the dash.the vehicle wouldn't change gears and would travel only in number one and the gear box is a automatic.l tried taking off the battery to restart its memory and did put it back again, and again it did the same problem .please help?

It sounds like you car is in 'Limp Home' mode. It is designed to minimize damage to the transmission. There are DTC's stored in the car's computer memory which can give a clue to what has happened. You will need either a dealer or independent with STAR diagnosis equipment to read the codes.
