1996 Mercedes e320 (U.S.) blinker relay problem
Hello,
I believe my 1996 Mercedes e320 blinker relay is going out, the right turn signal doesn't turn on or make any noise. I opened the the box on the passenger side door where I believe the relay is. I hear abnormal clicking from the relay and it sounds like it's dying out. My problem is that I can't get the relay out and now when I turn on the car my windshield wipers suddenly start working even though the windshield wipers switch is turned off.
Is the broken relay causing the wipers to go off? And when I do replace the relay with this fix the windshield wipers acting up or did I possibly knock some wires in the wrong place?

Out Of Control!!
Well the good news is that you don't have a blinker relay problem because there isn't one in the circuit---your light module regulates the blink and I doubt its that module--you simply have a bad turn signal switch!!
I have no idea what you are playing around with on the passenger side, but all the wiper relays are apart of the front SAM(drivers side under hood), however if what you are reporting is correct sounds like you have a bad SAM.
Because you have two very complicated interconnected and expensive systems=EVN I would get the car quick tested to locate the issues, however without a quick test budget a month of testing and you should find the faults your self!!
