Check Engine Electronics Light
What's up guys, long time no see.
Yesterday, i hit a bump in my ride, and it hit pretty hard. Got out checked to see if i bent a rim, but i was all good. So i keep driving then all of a sudden my 'check engine electronics' light came on?
Does anyone know what can trigger this error in the display? Or anyone ever have a similar problem that fixed it? My car seems to be running fine, i can't find any obvious problems. Anyway, any help would be great.

Could be one of a hundred things Dub (MAS, ignition coil, etc...) Only way to find out is to have the error codes read by a service shop (or if you have an ODBII reader).
Good luck; hope it's nothing serious.

If you want to know what set the CE light then read the codes. You could take the chance and disconnect the battery to reset the check engine light. If it is a real problem, then the light will come back on in 50 miles of driving or after the car is started and stopped several times.

E-Klasse,
I like your wood steering wheel. Where did you get that and how much?
You really have a great looking car. Subtle changes make all the difference. The only thing not to my taste are the wheels, but that's just my own taste. So many people way overboard with exterior modifications but it's the subtle ones that really dress the car up.

Thanks for looking at my car. I am not going for radical changes like you said. The car gets noticed on it's own. My wheels are temporary for now. I am looking to go with a set of 18" ones when the right deal comes along.
The steering wheel is the OEM leather and wood that I got off of ebay. You can get them from Performance Products and Autoclass.

I had that same message. I was an autocross track day and the light cam on and the car started misssed quite badly. I parked the car, unplugged the battery and tried it again. It cured th miss, but slowly I started getting driveability problems, tranny wasn't shifting as well as it used to, lost 2-3 mpg's. I went Schucks and used one of their testers but it didn't reveal any codes. Long story short, bad crank shaft sensor, $600 to diagnose the damn problem from dealer. Moral of the story, if you are mechanically inclined, buy your own scanner for around $500.
