o2 censor repair

o2 censor repair
my check engine light came on so i ran it by my buddys local shop and he hooked it up to the computer and told me the o2 censor was the problem,he reset the check engine light but it came back on the next day.
what is the approx repair cost for this from mercedes and what does the part itself cost? am i better off getting the part and having my budy put it in or is it a big job??

Hello,
Make sure which O2 sensor the computer is reporting. There are FOUR o2 sensor and each costing about $50-100 each. So make sure which O2 sensor are read from the ODbII scanner.
