Thumbs down Low fuel light blinking on full tank

I have a 97 E420 with 120,000. Runs and drives excellent. Occasionally, when the car is at a light, or just idling in park, the low fuel light will start blinking fast - it doesnt matter how full the tank actually is. Very annoying at night. Also, now it seems to come on with the check engine electronics light. The idle bumps up too right before the light comes on. I think it might be a fuel sensor or something. The dealer cleared the code last week saying that I must have filled it with the cap off or it was loose because the code was for a large fuel leak. They checked the evap system and it checked out ok. Well the check engine electronics light came on again yesterday and I drove to autozone where they tested it for free and said it gave two codes, one was a high idle code and one was a evap system leak code. They cleared the codes for me and the light came back on again today. Any ideas?

Strange, sounds like it could be an electrical issue. Post your question at the following site and you will get better response...

Did they reset the computer (i.e. not just clearing the warning lights?). I had the computer scanned with DAS and numerous errors came up but after a reset, the lights never came on again.

That becasue it takes about 6 miles to get both driving cycles done, and once you restart the car it has to go through the driving cycles again.
