Amp in 1998 E320?

Amp in 1998 E320?
Okay so i have a 1998 mercedes e320 without bose system. I plan on upgrading all my speakers and my head unit and i want to run my new speakers through the stock amp for now while i have another amp that my subs will being running through. I know that running the new speakers (components) through the stock amp wont yield amazing results as they could with a aftermarket amp but thats what im planning on doing. My first question is if the stock amp will be able to handle the new speakers? My second question is, where exactly is the stock amp at? i cant find it anywhere in the car and even if i were to get another amp for my speakers in the car i dont know how to get rid of the stock amp. Also i dont want to take it to a stereo shop because that it alot of money to spend for them to do it when i can do it myself with some help from the internet.

the parts catalog diagrams appear to show that the w210 amp is located behind/below
the C pillar and may even be above the left rear wheel well
you can also verify this based on your VIN here which is MBUSA

okay so if i were to remove my stock amp and replace it for a new one I would basically cut all the wires from the speakers and trace it back to the stock amp and then unplug all the connections and stuff like that, right?

Amplifier location.
Hy everyone. I'm trying to locate the amplifier for my 2010 glk. I found in the back left of the trunk (next to the fuses box) something that I thought is the amplifier but apparently is the sirius Xmas receiver. Anybody knows where should I check? Thank you
