Smile found hands free phone solution for C, E & S CLASS

Well folks I have found the solution to use your Bluetooth cell hands-free in your MB. Of-course system works with most Bluetooth cell phones. Whole system and harness costs less than $300.00 much cheaper than what MB would charge for just a regular phone. Plus you can use it with more than just one phone.

Hi Richard here is the link of that website and I am looking at the product model CK3000 http://www.driveblue.com they do not sell them on this website and don't carry harness but i have contacted an distributor and they have harnesses that would fit c,e & s class with the product ck3000 best part is you can have your phone in your pocket and with the voice activation system you can receive and make calls. I do not have the full details yet but I think you can use at least 3 different cell phones with this system. I have an online business and looking into becoming a dealer for this product if there is a market. it dose seem much better system then any other system available in the market because you can use your own cell phone with almost all the feature that an OEM system would provide.

the website says it uses your car's speakers, but will you be able to use other oem phone features, like steering wheel/dash controls, muting stereo when you get a call, accessing telephone book from your car's display, etc...

I'm not trying to be a smart a$$ but I already have a blue tooth headset that's cost me close to $100 and am struggling to find a good reason for spending 300 extra bucks on something that'll actually give me less privacy e.g. if I'm driving my boss and I get a call for an interview......or if the wife's in the car and the mistress calls etc. etc. Can anyone give me a real good reason please?

it really depends on what you are looking for... i've never used the factory mb phone system, but i imagine it is significantly more convenient than just a headset, because you get to use your steering wheel controls, send/receive calls via your in-dash display, automatic muting of the stereo when getting a call, etc, so i am asumming this system will provide at least some of those functions, i suppose we'll find out sooner or later

If you're driving your boss ! I hope it's a she and she's cute. In that case, the bluetooth headset will get in your way so listenning to your phone call through your cars speakers will be a lot better and safer for that matter, lol...:p

Hi, I do have some more information about the system as to steering wheel controls will not work, automatic muting of the stereo dose work when getting a call and since the system uses voice recoginition you can have upto 300 voice tags to receive and make calls, so have the option to have the system announce the incoming call and dial a preprogramed number by just calling the name also you can use it with 3 phones. I myself do not like headsets.

I never drive somebody in my car. So a boss (BTW she, she's cute, and drives 7 series), wife, and any other persons drive me, because I hate to drive. So it doesn't make sense for me from privacy side. I hate to wear any headset either. Finally, I hate to speak over phone anyway. But, since the feature exists, I think it's nice to have.

I do have some installing instructions but not sure how to upload them. I am sure some of the handymen out there will be able to do it themselfs. I myself will have to have it installed.
