silver paint code, cooling fan Q
Our 02s paint is peeling on the hood and roof
Along with a few other items trying to feel out if its worth it
Rock solid car but I dont see anyone wanting to buy a car that has over 200k on it SO-
Know of a local place that does nice driver quality paint jobs for about a grand or so. Obviously I dont want to use their color want it original, was hoping wiht the right code I could buy a gallon and pay a lil extra to give the car some new life. Body is flawless wouldnt take more than a scuff and shoot
Not a fan of cheap paint jobs but a coworker had a color change done (champagne to black) and looks closer to a 2-3k job. I know if I Colorsanded it afterwards and polished it could look better than factory.
Also the cooling fan when it shuts off is a little squeaky so I suspect the bearing in it is getting tired. Good sources to purchase from, thanks any links would be appreciated.

Color code should be on label under the hood, or you can enter your VIN in one or EPC for datacard.
Check the fan noise carefully. Likely the clutch is getting bad, but lot of other possibilities.
