Fog light replacement
One of the my fog light just burned out! any idea on how to get to it? Under neath the bumper? This is on 2000' E320
thanks!
p.s. If I need to get a new set, what brand would you guys prefer?

use a Flat blade screw driver to turn the screw and the door will release you will then have access to the fog lite
Check to see if the harness is burned out, when you get the bulb.Or,put the one that works in the spot where the other burned out.Ive had 3 sets of harnesses changed.
Any recommendation of brand names or any the H1 bulb will work good?

On The W210 to replace the Fog lite lens/bulb you can access the Lite through a door on the front lower splash pan

This morning we had little fog. So I decide to turn on all my fog lights, front and rear. I have not replace the right side front fog bulbs yet, even though I know there is one burned out. I was gonna do it this weekend some time and wrok on it. I knew I will get a warning message in the cluster when I turn the lamps on showing 1 Mulfunction for check lights and it did. But the strange thing is when I exit the vehicle (30sec security delay) and turn around look back the fog light came on again. So I am confused I don't know whether my harness is bad causing the intermitten connection or when I shut the door cause the virbration made the light turned on, or I have a bad harness, could be a bad bulb too. I guess I won't know for sure until this weekend, when I get a chance to mess with it. Is fog light harness is a high warranty item? if it does dealer should replace them, I have about 4,000 mile on it before the warranty goes out.
P.S. This is got an OEM blubs, I haven't change anything since I had the car.
thanks,
Its a pain in the ***.
I believe that all MB dealerships have been dealing with these harness issues, and they probably have worked out something, like a heavy duty harness which is what I had done 3 wks ago with the B service.Keep us advised brother!
Yep,I had a similar thing happen to me when the first harness was about to go out.I tapped the fog lense and it came back on.It should be covered by the 4yr 50k mile warranty. And if the dealer is a decent fella and knows you have had a history of harness problems,he should hook you up afterwards too.

, I should hear from him shortly, will report back.thanks
Good deal,,I have to think that MB wants no association with the words "lemon law".Therefore to keep their clients happy,a smart dealership would work hard to keep them.
thanks.

I did it all "by feel".......
