Too much engine rust (pic)? Thinking of buying used E240
Hello everyone
I was wondering whether i could get some advice on a used E240 I am thinking of buying.
If you could take a look at the pic of the engine I've attached and let me know whether there's anything seriously (or even less seriously) worrisome-looking.
It's an E240 from the year 2000. It's done 60,000 miles but hasn't been driven at all for the last 10. To my very untrained eye the exterior seems ok. It is running ok as of right now...
Much thanks for any help.

I don't see engine rust on the picture and it is not the engine that mostly corrode on those cars.
Check spring perches, door bottoms, edges at the bumpers.
