Emergency strap on snow chains
help? I have a 2001 e320 4matic. Looking to buy the emergency strap on snow chains that go through the holes in the wheel and around the tire (already have full chains, trying to avoid using at night). Does anyone have knowledge or experience if ok to use on front tires only? Also, what the clearance is inside that wheel opening between that and what looks like a disc break? I'm a woman so I'm guessing it's a disc I see through the wheel. Any advice is very appreciated. Car is awesome in snow with Blizzak tires but occasionally need to chain up to drive up mountain to home (for those saying chains not needed). Thanks in advance!
