I would say "don't think so" on 02 sensors ... sometimes a "quick" fix may solve the problem .. note it takes about 40 miles of driving for the internal system values to change.. so these two codes - erased by scanner - can come back up - then later go away
Quick fix to try out before chasing vacuum leaks : $9 bottle of Stabil Marine Stabilizer/Blue + $30 pair Mann or Hengst ONLY air filters + $8 MAF seal # 1121590180 + $10 can CRC MAF cleaner = $57
1. Dump 1/2 bottle Stabil Blue into the tank to begin injection clean up
2. Remove airbox - be careful with the wedge pins/clips when you "pop-off" the airbox - wipe inside airbox clean with dry rag (no cleaners/no silicone) , install new/fresh Mann/Hengst air filters (you haven't been running K&N have you ?/don't) - reassemble airbox
3. Remove MAF - easiest with hood "straightup" and old blanket over top of engine to get up and over - there are three "clips" that hold the MAF - remove MAF - the old seal between MAF and housing does get old/brittle with major heat back there - when scraping off the old seal use rag to block intake - -clean MAF thoroughly with MAF cleaner - air dry no heatr - install new seal - reinstall MAF - reinstall airbox
Search forum for ECU reset - follow that quick 3 min procedure to reset ECU/tranny to original aggressive defaults
I am not saying MAF is positively your issue - I am saying not likely 2 O2 sensors failed simultaneously (although repair shop/dealer would head that direction to run up a service bill) - what I am saying is this reasonable amount of DIY work see if it gives you solution - ultimately - with mileage MAF is a "consumable" and not uncommon for a failing MAF to get a quick/burst of usefulness by cleaning - and/or if pistive MAF issue ultimately will require replacement genuine Bosch MAF from reputable source.
