W210 ABS, BAS, ESC. NOT BRAKE SWITCH / ABS?
Right I recently purchased a W210 E320CDi with 91K on the clock and a bit so service history.
After a few weeks of no problems I had the ABS, Brake Assist and ESP lights all come up at once. So I thought ah ABS sensor must have gone.
Got the codes read and the 2 that come up are:
C1310 A7/3y18 front axle switchover solenoid has open curcit or short circuit.
C1140 Steering angle sensor.
I took a punt on a 2nd hand ABS pump, cos it was 20 quid and I heard they're plug and play. Plugged it in today. No change.
I have also tried the brake switch just in case. No joy.
1: can people confirm that the front axle switchover solenoid is in the ABS pump as I suspect.
1b: the ABS pump had the same bosch part number as mine but the barcode was different does that matter?
2: Does the wiring wear out anywhere I can check?
3: is there anything else I can try before I go through the loom with a fine tooth comb.
4: any pinout diagrams for this vehicle?

My VIN? I did notice an obsession with the VIN on this site, it's a W210, I am asking questions that are pretty general. I.E. is the ABS pump plug and play. Are there any points in the wiring that are common faults.
