Swapping e320 m112 engine with chrysler crossfire m112 engine

Hi fellow benz owners. I'm new to this forum as well as new benz owner. I bought a used 2001 e320 for a fairly good price. Everything runs fine, but the engine is pushing close to 150000 miles which is not so bad, but I'm looking for a fresh start with this car. I found an e320 engine with 71000 miles on it for about 1200$ which seems like a good price, but then stumbled on a few chrysler crossfire's with the same m112 engin within the 50000 to 70000 mile range for more than half the price (400 to 600$).

My question is; would it be possible 2 swap these 2 engines since they are the same? Or because they come from 2 different make I'll need to do more modification.

Thank you.

You might have to swap exhaust manifolds but that's about it.
I'd save your money for real repairs that you will need. The engine is the best thing that car has, keep good oil in it and it'll run forever. Would be silly to replace at such low miles. Engine will outlast every other part on that car.
