Climate Control Vent Issue

Hello all,
I am having an issue with the actuator flaps on my 98 E320. When I press the the air direction but to change which vents I want the air flow to go I get absolutely no response on either side. I have run a diag with the car parked in the driveway running and at normal operating temp It's a hot 90 degree day and AC is on during this test. The results:
01-35
02-50
03- 10
04-10
05-04
06-94
07-14
08-54

I also checked for both engine codes and climate control and their isn't any codes. I ran a flap test and on 1 (HI) it's suppose to be Left Diverted Flap which is Left Center Outlet Opened (cold air). The results I got on 1 (HI) is air blowing out both center vents and it wasn't cold. Also on 2 (HI) it's suppose to be Right Diverter Flap which is Right Center Outlet Opened (cold air). The results I got on 2 (HI) is I have no air coming out the Right Center Outlet at all. I'm about to dig into looking at the actuators. I believe that vacuum actuator 42&43 may responsible for the issue I'm having. Vacuum Actuator 42 is right Center Outlet tempering flap vacuum actuator and the vacuum line goes to port 4 on the Y11 switchover vacuum block. Actuator 43 is Left Center Outlet Tempering Flap Vacuum Actuator and the vacuum line goes to port 3 on the Y11.

Does anyone have any input to what else might cause this issue before I rip into testing all these vacuum lines? Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thank You!!

You have acquired the refrig actual values which look fair---now do the flap tests to confirm your diagnosis--the flap test is all over the internet---do a search!

I did perform the flap test as I posted in my original post. I even posted the results I got for the flap test.

W210 E290td 1996
Hello all, I've had problems my 1996 W210 E290TD.
I've been working through a series of the usual w210 problems since taking ownership a year and a half ago but I'm finally getting through the list .
Is the compressor the locking system's compressor or a different compressor associated with the a/c?
My A/c has not worked since I've purchased the car so that may be why my flaps don't work and have not yet embarked on that challenge as I'm in Poland and A/C is not such a big problem most the time but I'll be moving to Portugal soon so that will have to be repaired before next summer!
I've just changed the locking system's compressor and got non-mercedes remotes and the car now locks and unlocks properly for the first time in years after much trouble, but I guess the compressor story may have another chapter/appendix I'd not foreseen... just want to be sure I'm starting at the right end of the car! (:

Cześć Julian.
AC and flaps are 2 different and independent systems on those cars, so that is how you have to troubleshoot them.
I posted link to help site how to troubleshoot AC about milion times on the forum, but here it is again http://www.mercedesmedic.com/ac-air-...le-codes-list/
The system is not that complicated, when you have some basic knowledge, but easy to confuse, when you see OP doing sensor reading and assuming he is doing flap test.
Flaps are not crucial BTW and aging vacuum elements are nightmare to replace. When I had older W124 - PO disabled the flaps and default was on defrost and side vents. That was good for warm climate in CA, when I had no floor air for few of cold days.
Anyway, make AC working and then worry about the flaps.
Read the sensors 2 times, 1 in the morning before engine start and 1 in hot afternoon short time after restarting the car. Post the values here and I can help with interpretation.

Thanks kajtek1
I have what Europeans used to call "a/c" (until lexus killed them in America and they started getting whith the program). So likely a very different case for treating then the Real climate control system on your link.
I'll get that Italian thing working if possible (only non German thing in the car to my knowledge) and go from there!

In this case you need a scanner to read the values.
Not much experience with manual controls AC, but I assume logic system is the same.
