W210 Part Number Needed...MB Star for Rear Trunk
Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need the part number for the MB Star that fits on the trunk. My car is a 2002 E320. Thanks in advance.....

The star does curve at the top. I had to replace mine after a guy at the detail shop ripped it off with a buffer. Make sure you get the plastic pieces that hold it on to the inside of the trunk. They slide over the posts on the back of the star.

Reason why I ask is I had taken a look at the one nguyensteve had posted from eBay and they are straight across the top?!?! Anyway, this is why I looking to see if there is a difference in the styling.

I don't have the part number but if I remember right, it was only $5 at the dealership. I just told them I had a W210 and they gave me the right one.
The one in the ad has a different picture than the actual star. Look at the part number on the bag. It is a 140 part number. The one for the your E-Class will be a 210 part number.

While you guys are looking up part numbers can someone assist me in finding the 2 din that is required for Steve to install a COMAND in my E?
I called the Stealership and they were absolutely clueless. I referred to it as a 2 din, and they treated me as if I was 2 dim..LOL
Anyone who has already went through his mod know what the part is actually called???
